Le Marche is an Italian region but also Italy in a region! Its landscape is very diverse: there are sea, hills, mountains. Its special morphology featuring a series of parallel hills and valleys that move from the seaside towards the hinterland, favoured the development of a multitude of residential areas and fortresses in the past, creating a variety of cultures and traditions, food and wine that today are unique assets and a peculiarity of the region.
Here are some info and advices about selected itineraries nearby.
SEASIDE
Senigallia , 20 minutes away, is called " the velvet beach" for its smooth and fair sand. It is ideal for children (shallow water) but the adults will appreciate it too for its beautiful old town centre (which is very lively in the evenings).
Numana and Sirolo are 45 minutes away. Numana is renowned for its white pebble beach and the beautiful light blue colour of the sea; Sirolo is famous for the stunning beauty of its beaches and the beautiful old town centre. From there you can access the Parco del Conero and the breath taking coastline featured by cliffs overlooking the sea and white sand-pebble beaches (this is a great spot for diving and sailing).
For those who like to enjoy other seaside towns, we advise to visit Porto San Giorgio (don't miss Torre di Palme, a little gem of a town) Grottammare and San Benedetto del Tronto.
Heading north, instead, in 45 minutes you can reach Rimini, famous for its beaches and nightlife!
NATURE, MOUNTAINS, HORSE RIDING, BIKEs AND MOTORBIKEs
In about 30 minutes by car you can reach the Regional Park "Gola della Rossa e Frasassi" with its famous caves. This is the ideal place for outdoors activities such as trekking, mountain-bike and rock climbing. The Gola del Furlo is about 1 hour drive.
The nearest mountains where you can ski in the winter are in the southern area; Sarnano and Frontignano that you can reach in about an hour drive (monti Sibillini).
There are countless city or bike itineraries that you can enjoy leaving right from our garage! We will be happy to offer some advice based on first hand experience!

The nearest horse riding club is close to Jesi (Circolo della Natura), just 20 mins away.
HILLS, TOWNS, FOOD AND WINE
Le Marche is also famous for its ancient villages; Belvedere O. and the near Morro d'Alba, Ostra and San Marcello are definitely worth a visit!
22 of them have been awarded as some of the most beautiful Italian villages. On the hills you have
Cingoli, Corinaldo, Gradara, Grottammare, Matelica, Mondavio, Mondolfo, Montecassiano, Montecosaro, Montefabbri, Montefiore dell'Aso, Montelupone, Moresco, Offagna, Offida, San Ginesio, Treia.
If you want to visit some historical cities without going too far you can go to Jesi and Ancona (respectively 10 and 30 minutes by car).
Other interesting places to visit are Urbino (about 1 hour drive) , Loreto and its well known Cathedral (45 minutes) and Macerata with its Sferisferio, an open air venue second only to Verona's Arena. For the fashion addicts, in the Civitanova Marche area ( about 45 minutes away) there are many outlets (Prada, Cesare Paciotti, Tod's, Hogan etc.).
You can also go for a day trip to Bologna or Ascoli Piceno, respectively two hours and one hour and a half drive. Rome, the eternal city, is only 3 hours drive from us, same as Venice.
May - Second Sunday of May, traditional games of the rural culture as the "Quarantotto "( Fortyeight) or tug of war. There are also gastronomic stalls with typical local dishes tastings.
Festa del patrono San Pietro Apostolo
29 June -The celebration of Belvedere Ostrense's patron saint is held at Piazza Martiri Patrioti and features an evening concert of the local musical band.
Sagra della Sangria
July - Last week-end of July. South American songs and dances around the town walls.
Vecchi sapori di Autunno
November - A nice tour of the old wine cellars in the town centre which are opened to the public for those two nights only and gastronomic stalls.
Festa di San Rufo
28 November - Celebration of San Rufo, patron saint of the postmen with meetings concerning the problems of this category.
Festa della Madonna della Venuta
Festival along the town streets held every morning on 10 December every year.
